Operation Christmas Child
This project consists of wrapping a shoebox (bottom and top separately) and then filling it with age appropriate gifts.
Example: 2-4, 5-9, 10-14 for either a girl or boy.
We will be collecting empty shoe boxes (not the really small toddler shoe size).
We will have a shoebox packing party in November.
If anyone has any items at home that they would like to donate, we could use the following: small bouncy balls, rubber ducks, crayons, markers, small pads, thin coloring books, hard candy, happy meal toys, puzzles, toothbrushes, hair clips, small bars of soap, small storage containers, socks, gently used Barbie dolls with a few outfits, blocks, gently used littlest pets, Lego, art supplies, etc.
If you would like to make a monetary donation Operation Christmas Child needs $7 per box to cover shipping cost. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
If you do donate money please make the check payable to JWCR so that we can just send them one check.

International Recipes on the JWCR website
Our International recipes link is up and running on our website. Many of the foods displayed at our International buffet are there if you would like to try making them at home. Also, we encourage you to add your favorites. Email your recipe to Laura and she will be sure to add it to our website.
Clothing Drive for Ukraine Orphanage We also collected a lot of clothes for the orphans in Ukraine. I had a hard time fitting everything into my car that Saturday. Thank you for your overwhelming support of this project. All the cloths made it into boxes and were sent out by the Ukrainian Woman’s League last month. If we could get a count of who participated for our report, we’d appreciate it. Thank you again for supporting this project.
Operation Smile Thank you to the Junior Woman's Club children for raising $75.00 for Operation Smile. The children sold drinks and cookies during our annual Yard Sale. Great job! Keep up the good work.
