Shelter Our Sisters Pampering Day

The Shelter Our Sisters Pampering Event was a big success!  Eleven women from the shelter were treated to haircuts, styling and manicures by the staff of The Hair Factory in Lyndhurst.  Many thanks go to Leslie Beck from the Women’s Club, who obtained the salon’s services for the morning.   The fantastic food contributions from the Juniors ensured a big brunch buffet for the women and enough leftovers to take back to the residence for another meal.  The gift bags were filled with pampering products and generous donations from both clubs ensured that our guests were also able to pick items from a grab bag.  We could not have done this event without the superb driving skills of Sue Forsythe.  Thank you, Sue for driving the shelter’s van back and forth so many times I’m sure she could do it with her eyes closed by now!
