The results indicate that all samples were below applicable standards and recommendations. The test results state that 63% of all of the school taps had no detectable traces of lead. In the 37% where there was a detectable particle, the measurements fell well below allowable levels.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Paterno, the District&#8217;s Director of Building and Grounds, and I met with Mr. Bruce Wolf, the Senior Vice President of GSE to review the results. He reiterated that there is no need for any action regarding our drinking water. He advised that we retest annually and consider checking all water sources. Although not a recommendation, he said that installing lead filters in the fountains is a reasonable action to take and we will do so.
