Our Pierrepont community of students, staff and parents is continuing\u00a0to successfully adjust to distance\u00a0learning.\u00a0 Flexibility will continue to be key as we work together to navigate a very different approach to learning.\u00a0 Zoom and other video platforms\u00a0are being utilized in a variety of ways throughout the week both synchronously and asynchronously.\u00a0 To the degree possible, I encourage\u00a0your child to participate\u00a0in the synchronous class experiences such as class meetings and small group review sessions, as they allow the students\u00a0to connect\u00a0with their classmates and teachers and to ask for and hear clarification from teachers\u00a0on a variety of topics.<\/p>\n
On May 4 and May 5, we are pleased to provide virtual yoga in the classroom with the instructors from Core Yoga for Youth who have been working with our students throughout the year.\u00a0 Homeroom teachers will share the Zoom links and the specific times for each class.<\/p>\n
Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you have any concerns related\u00a0to classwork.\u00a0 Our counseling staff is also available to assist students as needed.\u00a0 Chromebooks are available\u00a0if any students are in need of one.<\/p>\n
