Students in Mr. Vaccaro’s and Mrs. Barone’s 4th Grade Science class are learning how the\u00a0skeletal and muscular systems work together so the\u00a0body can more. They took turns using a tape measure to note and record the length and width of the triceps and biceps while contracted, and relaxed. They compared the measurements to discuss how the muscles change as they move, and they composed a written description of how the muscles change as they pull on the bone to move the arm.<\/div>\n
