Preschool Program<\/b><\/p>\n

The Rutherford Preschool\u00a0Program is designed to\u00a0offer Rutherford residents access to a half-day program for preschool children ages 3 and 4. They will be involved in both academic and social activities appropriate for their age.<\/span><\/p>\n

Who can attend the program?<\/span><\/i>
\n<\/span>The program is open to students who reside in Rutherford with a parent or guardian. Students must be 3 or 4 years of age by October 1, 2025. Space is limited. Registration is first come first serve basis.\u00a0 A wait list will be available if the need arises.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Who will be teaching my children?<\/span><\/i>
\n<\/span>Each classroom has a licensed teacher.<\/span><\/p>\n

What are the hours?<\/span><\/i>
\n<\/span>3 year olds \u2013 9:00 a.m. to\u00a011:30 a.m.<\/span>
\n<\/span>4 year olds -12:30 p.m. to\u00a03:00 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n

The preschool program will follow the 2025\u2013 2026 calendar for the Rutherford Public Schools.<\/span><\/p>\n

Where will the classes be held?<\/span><\/i>
\n<\/span>Lincoln School \u2013 414 Montross Avenue<\/span>
\n<\/span>Washington School \u2013 89 Wood Street<\/span><\/p>\n

Is there a fee for the program?<\/span><\/i>
\n<\/span>Tuition is $3,000 for the 2025 \u2013 2026 school year half-day program. A non-refundable deposit of $300 is required at registration.\u00a0 This deposit will be applied to the June tuition fee.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How can I register for the program?<\/span><\/i>
\n<\/span>Preschool registration for the 2025 \u2013 2026 school year begins on January 23, 2025. After completing the\u00a0<\/span>the online registration<\/span><\/a>, please call the Rutherford Board of Education at (201) 438-7675 ext. 1112, or email registration@rutherfordschools.org to complete the registration.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
