The GT teacher develops creative thinking, deductive and inductive reasoning and questioning. This class is scheduled once a week. In addition, identified students receive differentiated assignments from their homeroom teacher.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Third \u2013 Sixth Grade<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students who meet the criteria for GT in grades three through sixth grade participate in a pull-out program where selected students work with the GT teacher on projects. Students use a project-based learning model to extend and enhance objectives. Students research selected topics, think critically about learned information and expand their thinking skills.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seventh \u2013 Twelfth Grade<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students now receive numerous options based on interest and skill. Any enrolled student who meets the criteria for each selected course may take Accelerated, Honors, Advanced Placement and\/or elective classes.
