In Mrs. D&#8217;Anneo&#8217;s class, students participated in a\u00a0<b>Compound Word Snowball Fight<\/b>&#8211; but instead of real snow, they used words! Each student crumpled a word into a &#8220;snowball,&#8221; and tossed it into the pile. Then, they each picked up a &#8220;snowball&#8221;, flattened it out, read the word, and searched for their matching partner to create a compound word. It was a fun and hands-on way to reinforce their learning.
