I can\u2019t believe that September is almost over, and October is here! It was wonderful to see so many families at Back-to-School Night. \u00a0 The school year has gotten off to a fantastic start, and we have many events planned for October and November<\/span><\/p>\n

Thursday, November 2 \u2013 Fall Social \u2013 Grade 7<\/b><\/p>\n

Tuesday, November 7 – School Closed \u2013 Election Day<\/b><\/p>\n

Wednesday, November 8 \u2013 Quarter one ends<\/b><\/p>\n

Thursday, November 9 and Friday, November 10<\/b>\u00a0– <\/span>School Closed<\/b> \u2013 <\/span>NJEA Convention<\/b><\/p>\n

Thursday, November 16\u2013 Fall Social \u2013 Grade 8\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Tuesday, November 21 \u2013<\/b> Grades 7-8 report cards for quarter one are finalized; please review them on PowerSchool\u2019s Parent Portal. We will send a Connect5 message to inform parent(s)\/guardian(s).\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Wednesday, November 22<\/b>\u00a0–<\/span> One Session Day<\/b><\/p>\n

Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24<\/b>\u00a0–<\/span> No School \u2013 Happy Thanksgiving!\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

If your child is going to be absent from school, please contact the office before 8:00 am. You can also utilize the following link to email the attendance office to report an absence: <\/span>https:\/\/www.rutherfordschools.org\/union\/about-union-school\/reporting-absence\/<\/span><\/a>\u00a0 If we do not receive a phone call, we will send home an automated message asking that you contact the school immediately.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please ensure your child has their lunch before leaving home to prevent disruption of instructional time.
