Happy New Year!\u00a0 Hopefully, you had a great holiday break, and all your wishes came true.\u00a0 It\u2019s hard to believe that the holidays are over, and we are now in January 2024.\u00a0 Below are important dates for January and February:<\/span><\/p>\n

January 15th \u2013 <\/span>Martin Luther King Day \u2013 School Closed<\/b><\/p>\n

January 18th \u2013 <\/span>Curriculum Night at RHS\u00a0 \u2013 7:00 p.m.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

January 22nd – 31st <\/span>\u00a0\u2013 Grade 7 Scheduling for UMS<\/b><\/p>\n

January 25th –<\/span> PTA Meeting – 6:00 p.m.<\/b><\/p>\n

February 1st<\/span> \u2013 UMS Orientation for grade six parents \u2013 7:00 p.m. (Inclement weather date February 8th)\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

February 15th<\/span> \u2013 Grade 8 UMS students visit the High School\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

February 16th<\/span> – Winter Recess -School Closed<\/b><\/p>\n

February 19th –<\/span> Winter Recess (Presidents Day) – School Closed\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

February 13th\u00a0 and 14th<\/span> \u2013 UMS Orientation for grade six students\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

February 24th \u2013 March 4th \u2013 <\/span>Grade 8 Scheduling for RHS<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

March 1st \u2013 March 11th<\/span> \u2013 Grade 6 Scheduling at Pierrepont\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

As we move toward the winter months, please make sure your children are properly dressed for the cold weather. Students should wear a warm coat, gloves, hat, etc. <\/span>The students will go outside for lunch recess and physical education on most days.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please review with your child what you expect them to do if an emergency closing is called after the start of the school day. In the event of an emergency closing, students will be dismissed at 12:18 p.m. In the event of a delayed opening, please be aware that homeroom begins at room 10:40 a.m., and dismissal is at 3:00 p.m.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
