December 5th –\u00a0 PTA meeting in the cafeteria at 6:00 pm.<\/span><\/p>\n

December 5th – Winter Vocal Concert at 7:00 pm.<\/span><\/p>\n

December 10th – Winter Choral Concert at 7:00 pm.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

December 20th \u2013 One Session Day \u2013 12:18 pm Dismissal\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

December 23 – January 1st – School Closed – Winter Recess\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

January 2nd – Schools Reopen\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

January 16th \u2013 Curriculum Night at RHS\u00a0 \u2013 7:00 p.m.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

January 20th \u2013 Martin Luther King Day \u2013 School Closed<\/span><\/p>\n

January 21st – 31st\u00a0 \u2013 Grade 7 Scheduling for UMS<\/span><\/p>\n

February 6th \u2013 UMS Orientation for grade six parents \u2013 7:00 p.m. (Inclement weather date February 11th)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

February 13th \u2013 Grade 8 UMS students visit the High School\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

February 14th – Winter Recess -School Closed<\/span><\/p>\n

February 17th – Winter Recess (Presidents Day) – School Closed\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

February 18th\u00a0 and 19th \u2013 UMS Orientation for grade six students\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

February 24th \u2013 March 4th \u2013 Grade 8 Scheduling for RHS\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

March 3rd \u2013 March 14th \u2013 Grade 6 Scheduling at Pierrepont\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As we move toward the winter months, please make sure your children are properly dressed for the cold weather. Students should wear a warm coat, gloves, hat, etc. <\/span>Most days, the students will go outside for lunch recess, and physical education.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please review with your child what you expect them to do if an emergency closing is called after the start of the school day. In the event of an emergency closing, students will be dismissed at 12:18 p.m. If a delayed opening occurs, please know that homeroom begins at room 10:40 a.m., and dismissal is at 3:00 p.m.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If your child will be absent from school, please contact the office before 8:00 am. You can also utilize the following link to email the attendance office to report an absence:\u00a0<\/span>https:\/\/www.rutherfordschools.org\/union\/about-union-school\/reporting-absence\/<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n
