Although it has gone by extremely fast, it has been a very productive six months here at RHS. As we begin PARCC testing, I wanted to review a few important dates and upcoming events. March 2 will be a one-session day with students being dismissed at 12:18. This is to allow our faculty members to receive professional development in selected best practice techniques and information. March 2 will also begin the PARCC assessment. Students will be taking the assessment during the mornings for the first three weeks of March. Most tests will not last more that one hour with some being shorter. Please remember that on Thursdays and Fridays during the first three weeks of March the day\u2019s schedule will be periods 7,8,9,4,5,6,1,2,3. This is to ensure that students aren\u2019t missing the same periods each morning during the assessment.<\/p>\n<p>Some other important and exciting dates for the month of March.<\/p>\n<p>March 20 and 21- The Addams Family Musical<\/p>\n<p>March 23 \u2013 27 \u2013 Spirit Week<\/p>\n<p>March 26- College Information Night<\/p>\n<p>March 27 \u2013 Pep Rally<\/p>\n<p>March 27- Junior Dinner Dance<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I can\u2019t believe that I am writing about events that will occur in the month of March already.
