Mr. Stracco’s Honors 400 English 400 classes participated in a Human Bingo game as a review of their summer reading, Tuesdays with Morrie<\/em> by Mitch Albom.<\/p>\n

Tuesdays with Morrie<\/em>\u00a0by Mitch Albom is a heartwarming and inspirational memoir about the author’s relationship with his former college professor, Morrie Schwartz. The book chronicles their weekly meetings after Albom reconnects with Morrie, who is dying from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).<\/p>\n

Throughout their Tuesday conversations, Morrie shares his wisdom on life\u2019s important topics, including love, work, aging, and death. Their discussions become life lessons as Morrie imparts his views on how to live meaningfully, embrace death, and find happiness in human connections.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Human Bingo is an interactive icebreaker designed to help participants get to know one another in a fun, casual setting. Each player receives a bingo card, but instead of numbers, the squares contain different prompts related to the novel.<\/div>\n

Participants move around the room,\u00a0 asking questions to find someone who matches each prompt. When they find a match, that person signs or initials the corresponding square. The goal is to fill a row, column, or diagonal line with signatures, calling out “Bingo!” once completed.<\/p>\n
